St Nicholas Athletics Club is preparing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Thomas Kent 10K in Castlelyons.
Back in 2021, after the restrictions of Covid-19, the race returned to the roads with more than 400 finishers taking part.
That year, Conor McCauley of Leevale AC took the men’s title in 32:00, while Roisin McLaughlin of Grange-Fermoy AC won the women’s race in 38:27.
Because of difficulties sourcing medals that year, finishers received a special commemorative cup instead.
To mark this year’s 10th anniversary, all finishers will receive a special commemorative medal and a beanie hat.
Whether it is your first 10K or your 100th, St Nicholas AC would love to see you there.
